To set Apache up with common needed settings login to WHM.

Go to Software / Update Apache

Accept the default and also select

PHP 4.3.1x (the latest which at time of writing is .11)

Curl
Curl SSL
DOM XSLT
GD
GetText
IMAP Module
MB String
OpenSSL Support
FreeType Support

Then click "Start Build"

The build will take 10-30 minutes depending on the system.
